In other words, Poland is the most homophobic country in Europe and the most bigoted in the developed world.

(1) Your blatant suggestion that it is the Deparment of State that produced no ranking of the most-gay-hating nations is not true.
The Department of State issues country reports, each of them reporting human rights violations on per-country basis. You can indeed read these on the site you've quoted.
(2) The magic number '8' you quote has been assigned southernvoice.com (that you quote) - a gay website/paper website with credibility significantly lower than the department of state in an ad-hoc and article 'World's worst places to live if you're gay'. I doubt this ranking is of any value, as it does not even mention these US states, where a BJ, not to mention gay-fav sodomy is still illegal
(Noticeably, all 8 counties fall nicely on the small map. Simply put, a quite random number)
This is not to say that Poland is a gay paradise, but announcing that it is the 8th most gay hating nation and using the Department of State as a source, is at the very least unsubstantiated claim, cherry-picked to support your 'vision of gay hating poland'
But since your comprehending powers are so limited, I explain the above to you like to a primitive Brit: you've lied, Sir.

By I think that the readers of your blog would be better off if you corrected the facts: the number '8' you quote was assigned not by the department of state but by some obscure journalist from an obscure website. (By the way, in the website is in the USA - probably the last developoed country where sodomy is illegal in some places/states; USA clearly should be in the top 10)

We might be a small country in comparison to the others in the top ten but our vicious homophobia is enough to eclipse the largest county on the list.
